Family skiing

We took the day to head down to Bristol mountain for some afternoon skiing. It was a great day - very sunny and not too cold.
We kept noticing there were alot of mardi gras beads and underwear hanging in the trees next to the ski lift half way up the hill.
So apparently it was even warmer the day before?

Elizabeth and Thomas are becoming very good skiers, it is hard to keep up with Thomas.

We went over to the Prato house for dinner afterwards.
Joe -the bionic hipster made beef stew and dumplings for dinner.
As dinner finished up - "The One Day" stories began. I told the story "The day Mom mom, Aunt Kristin and I dug up the
septic tank". Then Bill told the story of "The Rotten pumpkin in cousin Tom Jones's face".
...And there was much rejoicing.

Bill comes to Rochester for a visit

Our cousin Bill came to Rochester this week for a visit. Cathy picked him up from the airport Wednesday afternoon and
in the evening they drove in to the city to my house. Eric, Cathy, Bill and I met my brother Jim out at a restaurant called "Sticky Lips" on the east side of the city. The BBQ was GREAT! [ I thought ] Afterwards - Eric headed home and the four of us headed back over to my neighborhood to check out an "Irish Pub" that recently opened. Apparently some green paint and Guinness on tap is all that you need to open an "Irish Pub" [ oh - and a dartboard and some drunk people..] But we still had a good time catching up with Bill. The next morning - I took Cathy and Bill to our favorite breakfast place - The Penguin. Not a fancy place by any means - but the food is good and everything is basically $3.95!
