Grassroots Fest

Well its not exactly like I remember it...certainly more food options, some logistics are a lot better. More importantly though was combining this with kids and camping. We hooked up with Godfather JB and his crew and had splendid time. EB and his kids also joined in the fun.





Fun with wall painting and the "happiness parade"....imagine if they did this at 10PM?



...and of course a highlight for me was seeing the Horseflies...have not seen them since '91?



Did not catch Donna this year...too late for the likes of me. Grace said it was quite a weekend so maybe this will become an annual event. Good partying with you all!

What could be better than 2 weeks with grandma and cousin Katie at swimming lessons and tennis and shopping...and general lavish grandaughtering by St. RoseMarie??

2 years and counting

Next saturday we have our second anniversary of transplant. I called andy and told him we should celebrate with a steak...he said sure.

So we caught up on the med protocols, pharmacuitical issues and the usual star trek banter. He is doing good. We always compare meds...since it was the 8:00 hour we had our meds with us and did a visual analysis...pill count equal but my mass is higher...signficantly, my cellcept dose is 2x his...

So it was good to be out, be seen, etc....thanks Cath and all.

Life is still a dinner...go have a steak with a friend and laugh at life.
